What a fantastic first weekend of fall right? Hopefully you experienced some of the great weather that graced us here in the DC area.
On Saturday, my bff LB and I played tourists in our own city and checked out a couple of events downtown. We strolled through the Barracks Fall Festival and saw swing dancers cut loose, military chefs compete, petted some sheep, and saw some old cars ala Boardwalk Empire:
Afterwards, we made our way to the National Book Festival just in time to hear R.L. Stine tell us a spooky ghost story as well as inform us that he has new book out in October entitled Red Rain. It’ll be an adult book for his fans that grew up reading Goosebumps.
And that was that. Came home and spent the rest of the weekend indoors like the crazy hermit I am.
Did you read Goosebumps as a kid? Ever watch the tv show?
